Physiotherapy for Kids & Teens

Our standard in-clinic appointment type for anyone from 1 - 18 years of age. Please select an initial assessment if this is your first time, or a follow-up session if you've played with us before.


Physiotherapy for Infants

These appointments are designed for babies from birth to 12 months of age. Please bring your baby in should you have any concerns with their developmental milestones, headshape/head tilt, or any other concerns. You can also book one of these appointments if you do not have any concerns, but are looking for guidance on how to support your infant in developing gross motor skills.


Physiotherapy for Concussion

These appointments are for concussion related services including baseline testing, post concussion assessment and treatment. Our clinic is associated with Complete Concussion Management Inc (CCMI).


Virtual Physiotherapy

These services are offered through a secure online platform from the comfort of your home. Please give us a call to book a complimentary consultation if you would prefer this appointment type but are not sure whether it is right for you.


Pediatric Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

If your child struggles with continence or pelvic floor dysfunction, these specialized appointments with our Pelvic Health physiotherapists can help. Be sure to book an Initial Assessment if you have not previously been seen by one of our physiotherapists for Pelvic Health concerns.


Athletic Therapy

Athletic Therapy focuses on musculoskeletal injuries (bones, joints, ligaments) and injury prevention. Athletic Therapists are trained for acute and chronic injury management, including taping and bracing to get you back on the field, ice, mat, pool, you name it!


Infant Feeding Physiotherapy

Looking for physiotherapy for your infant who is struggling with feeding? Your physiotherapist will assess your infant’s latch, tongue mobility, and overall motor development. Physiotherapy exercises and positioning can help improve your infant’s feeding to allow for more comfortable, successful feeds for both parent and baby.


Personal Training

Personal training involves working with our certified Athletic Therapist to create and follow a customized exercise plan. Sessions are designed uniquely for each participant, where the therapist tailors workouts to meet your child's specific goals.

Brittany graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science and Major in Kinesiology with Honours. After working at the Kids Physio Victoria clinic as the Client Care Manager, Brittany’s passion for physical activity and working with children led her to pursue her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.

Brittany is extremely excited to have returned to Victoria and be back on the Kids Physio team to help children reach their full potential. Brittany is passionate about helping kids and teens reach their goals related to activities, sports, or any new movements, all while keeping physio fun!

Erin grew up right here in Victoria BC. After graduating from Camosun College with a Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy she began practicing as a Certified Athletic Therapist and has loved every moment of it! She has found her passion working with clients who are struggling with both acute and chronic pain, as well as neurologic and physical disabilities. Her previous experience includes working with local sports teams in the collegiate and high school setting while as a student Athletic Therapist, and has since been working at an adapted fitness gym primarily in geriatric care. She has a diverse background working with clients from a variety of movement, sport, and functional backgrounds and enjoys presenting therapeutic interventions in a fun, open, and welcoming nature to help them all reach their goals to the best of their abilities. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from the University of Victoria and worked locally as a kinesiologist before earning his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Now back on the Island, Brandon is dedicated to helping kids and families achieve the goals that matter most to them, whether it’s learning new movements, keeping up with peers, or returning to play after an injury. With an evidence-based approach and a passion for making physical activity enjoyable and accessible, he’s excited to support children of all ages and abilities, particularly those with autism, developmental coordination disorder, sports injuries, cerebral palsy, motor delays, and toe-walking.

Brandon grew up in the Westshore playing hockey and now spends his free time playing soccer and cooking up new recipes. One of Kaitlyn’s biggest passions is working with kids through play therapy and rehabilitation to see them reach their full potential! Kaitlyn’s love for paediatrics shines bright, as she works to collaborate with kids and their families in an effort to achieve any goal, no matter how big or small. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder, toe walking, cerebral palsy, gross motor delay, torticollis and developmental coordination disorder (DCD). Kaitlyn also loves working alongside young athletes as she is passionate about sports. She has been a coach for both field hockey and track and field for several years, two of her favorite sports growing up.

Kaitlyn was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island. She graduated from Vancouver Island University (VIU) in Nanaimo with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Physical Education. She then moved to Vancouver to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Daragh completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. During this time, Daragh worked with kids camps seasonally and volunteered at the Steadward Centre focusing on adapted physical activity for kids.

Before joining Kids Physio, Daragh gained diverse clinical experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, acute orthopedics, oncology, and palliative care. Her move to Victoria allowed her to pursue her passion for pediatric physiotherapy. She is thrilled to be part of the dedicated team at Kids Physio, where she provides fun, effective, and individualized care!

Daragh is known for her empathetic and compassionate approach, creating a welcoming environment that helps kids feel comfortable and confident in their therapy journey.

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy before completing a Professional Master’s in Physiotherapy from The University College Dublin. She is a certified Athletic Therapist and Exercise Physiologist with a High-Performance Specialization. Through her undergraduate and Master’s studies, Amanda has worked with local sports and university teams in Victoria and pediatrics, care of the elderly, oncology, cardiorespiratory, rheumatology, and neurological rehabilitation patient populations in various parts of Ireland.

Amanda grew up on the Saanich Peninsula with a passion for sports. She is excited to work alongside young athletes as she was a former athlete herself, having played high-level soccer for 12 years before transitioning her focus to rowing where she captained the University of Victoria’s Women’s Varsity Rowing Team for 3 seasons. In recent years, Amanda has been heavily involved in coaching kids of all ages and abilities at the Victoria City Rowing Club and Greater Victoria Youth Rowing Society. She continues to play soccer in a local women’s league.

Amanda is passionate about supporting kids and their families to meet their diverse goals and remain in activities that bring them joy. Whether it’s to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, endurance, gross motor skills, or confidence, Amanda’s goal is to make physio fun! Carly is a born and raised islander who completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Victoria before moving to Vancouver to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.

As a UBC physiotherapy student, she completed two placements at BC Children’s Hospital and volunteered weekly at Kids Physio where she quickly discovered the clinic was the perfect fit to start her career in paediatrics. Carly enjoys treating patients ranging from babies to teenagers and loves the challenge of keeping the sessions both effective and fun. Her post-graduate education and extensive experience allows Carly to treat patients with a wide range of presentations including infant conditions, developmental disorders, gross motor delays, toe walking, coordination concerns, sports-related injuries, concussions, and more! 

Carly collaborates with the BC Community Brain Injury Program to support children with recent brain injuries in reaching their rehab goals. Carly also has a special interest in baby physiotherapy and paediatric pelvic health. She can often be found giving presentations on Infant Motor Development to parents in the community or to university students. Carly also won the 2018 Canadian Physiotherapy Association Rising Star Distinction Award for her diverse work and leadership in the paediatric field.

In addition to her clinical work in Victoria, Carly also acts as the Director of Clinical Excellence and supports with leadership for all Kids Physio Group locations. She helps mentor new physiotherapists on the KPG team as well as UBC students with an interest in paediatrics. Carly is passionate about increasing access to fun, high-quality paediatric physiotherapy and organizes learning opportunities for therapists at Kids Physio and across the country.

Outside the clinic, you would likely find Carly training at CrossFit, playing one of many sports, catching up with her three sisters, cheering on the Canucks and Seahawks, traveling somewhere warm or adventuring in the mountains on her snowboard.
